The HAVEN project proudly took part in the OFF-GRID Expo + Conference 2025, held from 30–31 October in Augsburg, Germany. Recognized as Europe’s leading B2B platform for decentralized and off-grid energy solutions, the event brought together over 900 participants, including international experts, policymakers, and innovators from across the renewable energy sector.
HAVEN presented its pioneering hybrid energy storage system (HESS) concept, which combines high-energy batteries, high-power storage, and cognitive power electronics to support both grid and off-grid applications. Through its advanced modular architecture and digital twin technology, HAVEN aims to enhance the flexibility, efficiency, and safety of energy storage solutions while contributing to Europe’s decarbonization objectives.
The OFF-GRID Expo + Conference 2025 aligned closely with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs 6, 7, 8, 12, and 13), underlining the shared mission of promoting clean and reliable energy access worldwide. During the event, HAVEN representatives engaged with industry leaders to discuss the role of hybrid energy storage in supporting rural electrification, renewable integration, and sustainable transport infrastructures.
This participation strengthened HAVEN’s visibility among key European and international stakeholders in the off-grid energy landscape. The project also explored synergies with other initiatives addressing battery innovation, storage interoperability, and renewable energy integration.
By joining the discussions at the OFF-GRID Expo + Conference, HAVEN reaffirmed its commitment to fostering smart, modular, and sustainable energy solutions for a greener and more resilient future.
